"Dear Friends, during the past several months I have experienced first hand the tremendous work that is accomplished through the generosity of Episcopal Charities. Everywhere I travel around the Diocese I hear stories of how the support of Episcopal Charities is significantly impacting the programs and ministries that serve the people of God. I am so humbled and excited to have been called to be the next Bishop of Long Island and to know that the work ahead is supported by the strength and vision of each of you as you support this Annual Appeal."
— The Rt. Rev. Lawrence Provenzano

"Our Annual Appeal has three themes: The first is to see God?s love in action. The second is to trust in the work of those who build and administer our programs, and are responsible for the stewardship of your contributions. The third theme is the support you give when you are inspired by what you see and trust. Believe in God?s love, and nothing is impossible."
— The Rev. E. Clare Nesmith, Executive Director

The Board of Episcopal Charities thanks you for your prayers and generous support.

Episcopal Charities of Long Island is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization registered in New York State and governed by a board of directors who are clergy or parishioners within the Diocese of Long Island. Its ministry in the Diocese of Long Island is to raise and disburse funds to support the agencies and programs of the diocese.

The agencies and programs that are funded through ECLI are funded by the charitable donations received from individuals, congregations, businesses, and foundations, as well as income from invested funds.

Because income from invested funds is used to pay for modest administrative costs, 100% of every dollar contributed to ECLI through its appeals is applied to agency and program support.
